Located on St Giles Street, just off the city’s famous Royal Mile, this inner-city property combines the fully-restored historic façade of a 130-year-old building with contemporary interiors and services in 75 luxury suites. The original features of this Grade B listed building, including high ceilings and ornate cornicing, blend comfortably with understated elegance, allowing guests to take a step back into history.
Frasers first marked its presence in Europe with the opening of Fraser Suites Kensington in 2002. Today, it owns and manages eight properties in key locations in London, two in Paris, including one on the Champs Elysees, as well as Fraser Suites Glasgow.
The Fraser Suites Edinburgh’s opening capped a record growth year for the company. Frasers has stayed firmly on course throughout the year, opening 740 individual serviced residences in six countries worldwide. The company looks set to achieve another record in 2010, including a debut in new markets such as India and Budapest and the opening of properties in the existing markets of Japan and China.
Currently, Frasers Hospitality’s global footprint extends across North Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Australia to close to 5,000 individual residences. With another 5,655 residences already on the drawing board, the company is on course to manage more than 10,600 residences by the end of 2012.
