Emcor’s facilities services division has obtained a three year contract renewal to provide an array of essential maintenance and management functions at the Cardiff Airport. Emcor had previously provided mechanical and electrical engineering services at the airport in 2004.
The new agreement has been inked to help Cardiff Airport achieve its strategic energy reduction and environmental objectives. Emcor will work with Cardiff Airport to reduce the latter’s carbon footprint and save energy. It will also provide sustainable solutions, paving the way for future growth initiatives.
Over time, Emcor has provided various services to the airport, including the maintenance of the terminal and all associated buildings, as well as maintenance of other essential services such as the airport’s runway and approach lighting systems.
Emcor will now provide energy strategy development, performance monitoring and reporting, and the design and delivery of best practice energy reduction opportunities to cater to the needs of Cardiff Airport.
