The company is expected to offer sustainable design solutions for the increasingly eco-conscious businesses in the region.

The company will focus on supply and installation of office and home furniture for the contracts market, along with specializing in commercial interior fit-out. Twenty1 Denmark acts as the buying office for its Middle East counterpart.

The investors behind Twenty1 Middle East are the Scan-Thor Group and OTTO International, which manages a trading organization for a number of leading mail order and retail groups on the European market, Middle East and American markets, including the largest mail order group in the world – the Otto Group Hamburg.

Denmark’s Scan-Thor Group has more than 30 years of experience in international sourcing and supply management within furniture, ceramics and textile fashion. The Business areas of the Scan-Thor Group are product development, sourcing and supply chain consulting.

The German trading organization OTTO International (OI) has more than 40 years of sourcing experience. OI offers a wide range of products including apparel, sports, lingerie, footwear, furniture, home textiles and electrical/electronic products.
