The CLS-EXP-DIMU is part of the Crestron Green Light family of environmental controls. Its universal dimmer expansion module can be used for reverse phase loads and also supports more voltages. It enables the Crestron iLux integrated lighting systems and other Crestron lighting dimmers to add reverse phase type loads.
The switch auto-detects the dimmable load type and selects the appropriate operating mode to control that load, thus simplifying the installation process. It supports both forward and reverse phase type loads, including electronic low-voltage, magnetic low voltage, incandescent, neon/cold cathode, or 2-wire dimmable fluorescent.
A single module supports 120, 230, or 277 volt loads up to 16 amps, and as many as five expansion modules can be connected to a single iLux dimmer channel. The CLS-EXP-DIMU is wall-mountable and is also plenum-rated for installation above a suspended ceiling.
