The project includes an installation where a light appears to be ripped out of the wall. Part of the project also includes a shelf and drawer bursting out from under the plaster.
Allman is a studio furniture maker and with his recent designs, he has made an attempt to strike a chord between furniture and art.
Nick Allman is an Indianapolis based designer. He will complete his BFA in furniture design at Herron School of Art and Design in the spring of 2010.
