The 656 feet ship would be 99 feet longer than the Eclipse, the largest and most expensive yacht in the world owned by Russian Jewish billionaire, Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich. The cost of ‘Project 1000’ will range from $500 million to $900 million.
Besides being massive in structure, the new yacht will also display futuristic design elements. It will feature a 100 feet swimming pool and a health spa. Other features are a drive-in garage, two 98 feet day boats and a helipad with a hanger.
The yacht will be loaded with plenty of entertainment options such as a nightclub, a casino and a dual-level cinema. It can attain a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruise speed of 20 knots. The yacht will be designed to accommodate 45 guests in 10 VIP rooms, 22 guest suites and the owners’ deck. It will also feature space to accommodate 70 crew members.
The project is still in the planning phase. Taking into account the current global economic scenario, it is not likely to be launched soon.
