Peter Hapstak, owner of Core and lead designer, helped the Cupcake Sisters, Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis, expand their popular Georgetown Cupcake shop located at 3301 M Street NW in Washington DC.
“With the development of an efficient floor plan and a focus on baking and cupcake finishing, passersby may view the icing station and see into the working kitchen,” says Peter F. Hapstak, lead designer on the project.
The building’s new and improved façade at the Georgetown location has received positive feedback from the neighborhood and even a complimentary letter from the Mayor, added Hapstak.
An internationally recognized firm, Core has received over 100 design awards.
