Starwood’s brand Aloft will soon be making its debut in India, with three properties planned for 2010. Aloft hotels feature spacious, loft-like rooms, intuitive technology and vibrant, atmospheric public spaces. Loft-like design scheme, high ceilings, open floor plans and large windows that are characteristic of Aloft, would soon be availble in India. The new hotels would feature Aloft brand’s signature, urban-influenced design elements.

By 2012, Aloft expects to operate six hotels in India. Aloft Chennai-OMR-IT Expressway; Aloft Bengaluru-Whitefield; and Aloft Coimbatore Singanallur are all scheduled to debut in 2010. Next year, Starwood will continue Aloft’s expansion with the opening of Aloft Ahmedabad, SG Road; Aloft Chandigarh Zirakpur; and a second Bangalore hotel, Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park.

Along with Aloft, Starwood’s other brand Four Points would also be opening its facilities in India. Four Points by Sheraton has 142 properties in 24 countries. Facilities at Four Points by Sheraton includes four Comfort Bed, a luxurious ensemble, including a plush mattress, assortment of pillows and stylish duvet. Highlights of the Four Points by Sheraton prototype include bright and bold design, clean architectural lines, and warm, contemporary furnishings.
