The hotel features its own marina, 12 tennis courts and 18-hole golf course. The 499-seat Grand Ballroom is illuminated by an exclusive Dale Chihuly-designed chandelier, made of 750 silver and amber glass pieces in a cone-shaped formation.
The entire space is carpeted in a unique and luxurious Axminster from international carpet manufacturer DESSO, reflecting the hotel’s historic past. The team spent over 500 hours to design and set the carpet, perfecting the pattern and colorways.
The renovated hotel, originally opened in 1925, is designed to blend historical opulence with modern luxury. The Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club Hotel is of historic and architectural importance and is listed on the US National Register of Historic Places.
