The first phase of Syntel’s IT campus was inaugurated on May 22, 2010. Based on the concept of a cell, the design of the facility blends all the structures organically with their surroundings. The spaces are flooded with ample natural light and offer views of the landscape.
The first phase of Syntel’s Chennai campus spans 650,000 square feet and consists of three software development blocks, a 900-seat dedicated training block, dining facilities, and a welcome center. Thanks to the incorporation of eco-friendly design features, the campus is in the process of achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.
Located on a 29-acre parcel in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Syntel’s Chennai campus is being constructed in multiple phases and will eventually provide capacity for over 10,000 employees.
