The building, which will be 200 feet high and cover 475,000 square feet of office space, is part of a master plan that will establish a corporate campus in Omaha, Nebraska, home to a third of the company’s nearly 6,000 full-time associates. The new facility will house associates supporting the company’s corporate, operations and technology units.

The building will feature efficient mechanical, electrical, air handling and plumbing systems like high performance exterior window wall, natural day-lighting, light control and sensors, individually controlled thermal comfort through an under floor air system, low water consumption restrooms and irrigation, use of local, recyclable and low-emitting building materials that limit the release of pollutants into the air and minimal environmental impact through native landscaping and open green space, with approximately seven acres of green space adjacent to building.

In its effort to earn LEED Platinum certification, TD AMERITRADE plans to incorporate many green design components into the new facility’s construction, including clean, open, functional workplaces, exposing most workstations to natural daylight and outside views,

Once completed, the TD AMERITRADE campus will cover approximately 40 acres in the Old Mill area of west-central Omaha. Associates will work from either the new tower or one of three existing structures, all of which have been renovated.
