The $25 million dorm renovation project extensively renovated each of the towers which are named for the flower of the four largest islands in the state: Lehua, Ilima Mokihana and Lokelani.

The first floor, top floor community spaces and all bathrooms have received substantial facelift including new windows, new fire alarm and suppression systems, specific improvements to ensure increased privacy in the community bathrooms, card access to student rooms and building entrance.

The two-phase project aimed at improving students’ living and learning environment at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The Hale Aloha Complex consists of four freshmen co-ed towers, accommodating 266 residents in each hall and a dining hall.
