The renovated interiors of the 41.5m Mirabella III yacht features warm woods and welcoming neutral colours. The rader arch and tender crane of the yacht have been removed. The transom has been rebuilt featuring a new transom door with bathing steps. These steps can double up as a unique golf tee. The refitted deck currently features new flush decking. The superstructure and spars of Mirabella III have also been repainted alongside new 750mm windows cut into the hull.

The new design was commissioned by the owners to London-based interior designer Jill Lubin. The new owners of the yacht, who travel extensively, did not want a new look, minimalist feel anywhere on the yacht. They wanted an interior which is roomy and comfortable enough so as not to feel like a congested space, and a yacht where ten people can sit in an area comfortably.

The design team has kept the five guest cabins in their existing configuration with comfortable sizes. The cabins, which were in desperate need of an upgrade, have been enhanced by retaining the two double cabins that enabled two VIP twins to convert into King sized doubles. The refitted M3 currently offers four VIP doubles as well as the twin in the forepeak.

The saloon of M3, reminiscent of a windowless 1970s English pub, has been converted into a beautiful, homely seating area. In order to allow abundant air and light into the interiors, portholes have been incorporated, which became windows. The office space of the yacht has been remodelled into a space that evokes a London Gentlemen’s old world library, featuring subtle lighting, leather armchair and leather bound books among current titles and magazines.

Beautiful works of art are featured throughout the yacht including paintings by Paul-Emile Lecomte, Schiele, Hardy, and new talent. The refitted M3 features a magnificent deck area, which is the result of renewing the entire deck. The store cupboards that surrounded the mast have been removed resulting in a deck of the size of a small football field. It now can comfortably seat all the guests on the foredeck, either simply sunbathing or seated under the new Moroccan tent.

The luxury yacht that can accommodate 10 people on board and seven professional crew members was designed by Bruce Farr, the founder of New Zealand-based firm Farr Yacht Design, in close collaboration with Finnish yacht designer Pekka Koskenkyla. The yacht was originally commissioned by Peter Sijm and featured modern interior design and décor.

Mirabella III yacht, built in 1994 by Thailand-based Concorde Yachts, has undergone a refit scheme after almost 16 years on the water. Mirabella III was the third build of its type by Concorde Yachts with some design and structural changes, compared to Mirabella I and II.
