The Concrete collection is characterised by research, innovation and personality. Available in an endless range of colours, the concrete – whether fashioned into the elegant minimal design of Concrete Bath or into the fluid sinuosity of Concrete Soft – claims to make a decorative statement in any room of the house, and ensure durability and ease of maintenance.
Concrete offers eco-friendly design, thanks to the use of Ductal, which is an ecological material. It is composed by organic fibres, and is recyclable at the end of its lifecycle. It is used in reduced quantity and has a 20% lower CO2 impact compared to the same solutions using conventional materials.
Concrete Bath created by the Glass DesignLab is a shallow statement bathtub made from Ductal concrete with a wide surround for extra arm support. It gives the effect of being suspended and features soft imitation leather cushion. It sports an elegant minimal design that will suit any area of the home. In line with Glass’s tailored approach, the edges of the bath can be custom made for bespoke comfort. The frame at both ends comes in a special corten finish or in a shining silver stainless steel version.
Concrete Soft bears the signature of designer Gigi Rossi, one of the creators behind Il Cantiere. This model is designed along lines that seem to have their own organic nature – alive, sinuous and fluidly projected into the surrounding space. The softness of the shapes, the generous breadth of the back, the supporting base in antique brass or brilliant stainless steel, make this organic bathtub a refined interior design piece. A number of additions are soon to be presented to supplement this design experience.
