The Sencora 52 superyacht has been developed in close collaboration between European yacht management and construction company Sencora, UK-based yacht design company Dixon Yacht Design, and German yacht design firm Focus Yacht Design.
Sencora 52 has been designed as a high-speed displacement hull, which will provide the speed in excess of a typical vessel of this size. The yacht can accommodate 10 guests including the owner and nine crew.
This long waterline, lean, composite vessel, was designed for a client who required a motor yacht with ocean crossing range and capabilities. The resulting hull shape, combined with the weight advantage of composite construction will be a comfortable, efficient and economic vessel.
The yacht is not conceived as an average tri deck motor yacht. Influences on the design have come from large modern sailing yachts. The distribution of the accommodation clearly reflects a design destined to spend extensive time at sea.
The owner’s suite is housed in the aft deck, and two twin guest cabins and a large VIP cabin are located forward on the lower deck. The main deck has been designed to contain the captains cabin, main and dining salons and a tender garage. A raised deck above the owner’s suite offers space for sun bathing. Another sun bathing area and the sky lounge are located on the upper deck.
Sencora 52 is powered by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines and can achieve a maximum of 16 knots and 5000 nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
