Launched at the last ISH, PuraVida collection redefined the bathroom with its gentle curves and purity of colour bringing a feminine softness and new minimalism. Building on the success of this collection, additions for this year include deeper basins increased from 6cm to 12cm from rim to waste, a new handrinse basin with matching vanity for cloakrooms and new console tops in widths up to 2000mm for combination with one or two washbasins.
Duravit also introduces two new faces to its star line-up of designers. Each brings unique insights and two new complete collections. The first is an internationally renowned Italian designer. The second is a celebrated Russian architect, who having designed award-winning buildings, now turns to the bathroom. His new collection harks back to the splendour of times gone by with a modern twist and a touch of irony.
The commercially successful collaboration with Sieger Design continues with a new comprehensive collection to be unveiled at ISH. Flexible, chic and modern, this sanitary ware range includes furniture and bath tub and is suitable for budget conscious consumers who are looking for enduring design and high quality solutions.
Duravit will also exhibit a new float bath from EOOS with ingenious detailing and high-tech, user friendly technology in addition to a new steam shower from the most celebrated of all bathroom designers.
When Starck 1 was launched in 1994 it revolutionized the industry. Seventeen years on, this iconic collection has been revisited and makes several notable additions including some sleek new furniture options and three new console basins with matching vanity units.
The event will be held in Frankfurt from 15-19 March 2011.
