The design has been laid out with direct reference to Swedbank’s core values of openness, simplicity, care and durability. Scandinavian in approach, the innovative and transparent expression of the design is formed in an unconventional triple-V structure.
The building has been designed to become a landmark among Swedish office buildings. The large volume is broken up to create spaces on a human scale in an attempt to make the building inviting on the inside as well as on the outside.
3XN’s Principal Kim Herforth Nielsen said that the building is conceived and designed from the inside out. Swedbank has conveyed the importance it places on creating an open social environment, he added.
The construction of Swedbank’s new office is expected to be finished by the end of 2013.
