Since 1 June 2010, the hotel has been managed by Davidson Hotel Company on behalf of owners. The 11-storey atrium hotel, in the heart of downtown Chicago, is located near Boeing Headquarters, City Hall and Chicago Board of Trade.
The new hotel includes an indoor, heated swimming pool; two onsite dining options-Osteria Via Stato and Pizzeria Via Stato and 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that can house groups ranging from 10 to 300. The hotel will also feature a 24-hour business centre; fully equipped fitness centre; and Embassy’s hallmark complimentary, cooked-to-order breakfast and evening manager’s reception.
The guest suites at the hotel offer one or two private bedrooms with contemporary furnishings, armoires, spacious living rooms, high speed wireless Internet access, 32-inch flat panel bedroom television, 40-inch flat panel suite television, and a state-of-the-art workstation.
US-based Design Force has provided the design services for the renovation project. Sunstone Hotel Investors, a real estate investment trust, has managed the project.
