The project included refurbishment of the centre’s downtown Rochester wing and its main clinic on the University of Rochester Medical Centre campus. Work involved construction of an urgent care dental clinic in Elmwood, creation of six additional treatment rooms in its General Dentistry and Orthodontic clinics as well as expansion and remodelling of its check-in and check-out process.

The facility’s downtown clinic has been equipped with an extra four new treatment rooms whereas its waiting room and clinic section have received a facelift. Outdated equipment has been replaced with advanced technology in both its units.

The centre’s atrium and all the waiting rooms have been offered cosmetic as well as functional upgrades. The revamped atrium is adorned with new furniture. It also provides a visual treat by showcasing unique glassware, Inuit and African sculptures and other artistic pieces.
