The project includes facelift of the facility’s forty classrooms and four science labs. All the classrooms will install new walls, white boards and electrical outlets as a part of the project. The upgraded classrooms will also be fitted with new flooring, lighting systems as well as air conditioning units. Out of the 40 classrooms, 20 will be equipped with improved audio/visual and internet service with internet networking, power point, and multi-media applications following the refurbishment.
Overhaul work will also be carried out on various other areas of the campus. It includes the ROTC classrooms in the ASCC Gym, Institute of Trades & Technology building, the Art Building, and the English Language Institute/Upward Bound building and the second building housing the Nursing Department and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
The project has been financed by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and is due for completion by mid-August 2011.
