The Disney’s new Art of Animation Resort will form a part of Walt Disney World’s value resort section. It will house over 800 standard guest rooms as well as over 1,000 family suites. Each suite will have a capacity to accommodate a maximum of six people.
The facility will be divided into four parts bearing references from four animated Disney movies. The films are The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid by Walt Disney and Cars and Finding Nemo by Disney Pixar. It is expected to open in mid-2012.
The family suites at the hotel will include a master bedroom, three separate sleeping areas in the living space and two separate bathrooms. The resort will also feature three swimming pools, the biggest one in the Finding Nemo courtyard and two smaller ones in the Cars and The Little Mermaid courtyards. Additional facilities include an animation-themed food court and a host of guest-centric facilities.
