Zion Bank, the co-owner of the new building intends to build a 15-storey building that, apart from providing space to the bank to serve as its headquarters, will also offer space for other offices, retail and a parking garage.

The building will be constructed at the site of the Eastman building, which was destroyed in the 1987 fire. The new building has been christened as Boise Tower. The construction of the building is slated to begin in early 2012 and is scheduled for wrap up in 2014.

The two lowest levels will provide space for retail business, levels three, four and five will be used for parking and the remaining storeys will be available as office space. The 15th floor of Boise Tower will be called the Founders Room and will be available for lease for receptions and public events.
