The building was previously home to the Se Hotel. The new Palomar hotel features a total of 183 guestrooms with 17 skyline suites as well as 20 luxury flats. All the rooms bear sophisticated textures yet incorporate a modern style. They are also equipped with latest amenities.

The facility comprises event area spanning over 20,000 square feet. The space is adorned with a host of artistic pieces created by local artists. The hotel also houses a ballroom measuring 19 feet from floor to ceiling. Among its other features include a roof deck lounge, infinity pool, spa and pet amenities. The building will also offer free Wi-Fi access for Kimpton InTouch members.

In addition, it will function as a gallery and stage for exhibiting San Diego visual arts, performing arts, fashion, literature, dance and architecture.
