JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, which is slated for opening in the last quarter of 2012, will be a 355m tall hotel. The hotel will open in two stages. The first stage will witness opening of 807 guestrooms out of a total of 1608 and many restaurants and lounges.
Restaurants at the hotel will include the boutique steakhouse Prime 68, Atul Kochhar’s Indian restaurant named Rang Mahal, Positano serving Italian delicacies and an Arabic Restaurant amongst others.
The hotel will also have two ballrooms, 24 meeting rooms and a total of 5100 square meters of event space. The hotel will have nine restaurants and five lounges and entertainment venues. The 71st and 72nd floors of the hotel will house the Vault lounge that will overlook the city. Additional amenities at the hotel include the 1500 square metre Saray Spa and a 32m swimming pool and deck, complete with cabanas, lounges and umbrellas. The pool and deck will be located on the seventh floor of the tower. The Saray Spa’s design draws references from the caravanserai silk route across Arabia.
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is the first Marriott’s Marquis branded hotel being built outside North America.
