Main Event Katy will be anchored in the new Katy Ranch Crossing mixed-use development. The Crossing, located on a 129-acre area will comprise up to 750,000 square feet of retail, medical and restaurant area.
Modern Bowling Lanes will anchor every location in the new Main Event unit. The lanes will be fitted with large viewing screens, optional bumpers for younger bowlers, and luxurious seating zones. The building interior will sport comfortable seating and offer Wi-Fi access. The Katy will further house an indoor ropes course named GRAVITY. The rope course, suspended 12 feet above ground, will don swaying bridges, narrow beams, and a field of nets and ropes.
Laser Tag will be yet another offering of the new entertainment facility. It will feature an arena equipped with glow-in-the-dark pillars, arches, passageways and swirling fog. Further, there will be a spacious Game Room comprising over 100 advanced video, virtual, interactive and redemption games. The room will also allow gamers to create individual custom-built roller coaster rides in a virtual reality environment sporting a full 360 degree two-axis motion platform.
Among other features of Main Event Katy include full service bars, meeting rooms fitted with latest audio/video facilities, large flat screen TVs, and accommodation for groups of eight to 800.
