The hotel will mark the debut of the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Southeast Asia. It will be developed as a multi-use facility and will encompass 60 floors. It will house a total of 170 furnished guest rooms which include 34 suites. The rooms will range in size from 50 square metres. The property will also feature a pair of large ballrooms, along with nine luxurious meeting rooms. The interior portion of all these rooms will sport an urban yet elegant style.
The facility will further comprise two bars and lounge. Among its various other features are an all-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, a fitness centre and spa, as well as an outdoor pool.
The facility is due to open by 2015.
