Construction work of the new park will be carried out in phases. The first phase of the project will involve creation of three soccer fields, a pair of basketball courts, and plenty of play spaces.
Among the various other features of the new property include walking paths sporting exercise stations, shaded picnic areas, a concessions buildings, as well as restrooms. In addition, the facility will be equipped with advanced security and lighting systems.
Construction of phase I of the project will be financed through a sum of $5 million in state grant. The first phase is due to be over by 2012 end.
