The project has been executed by Graham Construction. The refurbished facility sports a eight-lane pool for community and specialist swimming use. The pool measures 50 metres and comprises a boom which allows to segregate the pool into two areas. It also consists of a re-orientated 25-metre diving pool which has a maximum depth of five metres. This pool has been fitted with moveable floor and doubles up as a swimming pool if not utilised for diving.
The pool incorporates a dry dive facility donning trampoline and springboards. Further, there is another 25-metre pool comprising moveable floor. This pool offers warm-up provision, swimming lessons and informal play utilising pool toys. Other features of the property include new dry soft play facilities, revamped and expanded gym and fitness studios, as well as remodelled changing village, meeting and conference rooms.
