The facility, which opened in 2009 end, has been designed to offer direct views of the outside area to 95% of its indoor space. It has employed ample measures to enhance its water and energy efficiency. The building has also made use of low-emitting materials to upgrade the quality of its indoor air.

The property has utilised 31% reclaimed building materials and has procured 27% of building materials from within 500 miles of the project site. Incorporation of a high-performance construction waste management system, and diversion of 95% of construction debris from reaching the landfills add to its sustainability.
