The design of the chair and footrest combination is reminiscent of 1956 Eames Lounge Chair. The shape of the new chair, though inspired by Eames Lounge chair, offers a modern take to it by involving a varied construction and assembly.

Cuatro’s footrest is made of one moulded plywood piece, while its main back and seat is formed of one moulded plywood. A pair of moulded plywood piece constitute its armrests which wrap around the back to offer support for the chair. Every plywood piece is formed of 28 super thin veneer layers set into moulds and left to dry via a handmade manufacturing process. The chair later receives a final veneer finish.

The chair incorporates a contemporary style which makes it ideal to be used in modern interiors.
