The Lawrenceville store would be the first Walmart Neighborhood Market in Georgia. The store is located within the Bethesda Walk shopping center at 3059 Lawrenceville Highway and spans 44,000 square feet.
The Walmart Neighbourhood Markets are marked for their unique store format, which offers quick and convenient shopping for groceries, pharmacy items and general merchandise.
The new store will feature a self-serve deli and a dedicated area for food items and grocery. Additional amenities at the store consist of a pharmacy, and dedicated area for stationery, paper goods, pet products, hardware items and a Celebration Station including gift papers and greeting cards and party supplies section.
The store will also offer Site-to-Store services, which is a regular feature at other Walmart stores. The free service allows customers to ship online orders from www.walmart.com to any Walmart store for pickup. The store will employ about 80 associates.
