Composed of four, 19th century historic palaces, the new Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is located on the central Schubertring Boulevard. The design of the new hotel reflects the imperial tradition and contemporary creativity associated with Vienna. The hotel is also the ninth hotel in Europe for the luxury hotel company.
The hotel has preserved several original historical facets of the place and integrated those into the interiors, creating a rich ensemble. A case in point is intricate wood carvings and panelling, which were restored and now form an essential part of the hotel’s character. The richness of the interiors is accentuated by means of a marble staircase and decorative mural paintings.
The hotel’s portfolio consist of 202 guestrooms, including 43 suites consisting of a Presidential suite. The Presidential suite is located on the second floor of the hotel, while the Club Lounge is located on the seventh floor of the hotel, offering panoramic views of the city.
The hotel offers several dining options, which include Dstrikt restaurant located on the ground floor of the floor with a summer terrace. The restaurant offers authentic Austrian cuisine. The hotel also has a rooftop bar called Atmosphere, where guests can enjoy the views of the city below. Melounge is a coffee-bar, which is located off-the-lobby of the hotel, while the D-Bar completes the hotel’s offering with a sophisticated venue option.
The hotel has a 300 square metre of event space called Crystal Ballroom, which is adorned with thousands of crystals. To cater to the requirements of business travellers, the first floor of the hotel include two permanent boardrooms, three function rooms, and a Business Centre.
Recreational amenities for the guests consist of an 18 metre indoor swimming pool, fitness room, sauna and steam rooms, and the boutique Guerlain Spa with six treatment rooms.
