Enveloped by a landscape of natural beauty, Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences is bordered by the ornate terraces of the Lavaux UNESCO protected vineyards and overlooks one of Western Europe’s largest lakes, Lake Geneva.

Du Parc Kempinski Private Residences’ intricate restoration and renovation programme has been undertaken by luxury lifestyle developers Swiss Development Group and architects Bronnimann & Gottreux and Group H. It comprises 24 private luxury residences, a grandiose lobby and various amenities, including a 650 square metre spa and a private cinema. The apartment units will vary in size from 200 square metre, two-bedroom units, to 690 square metre, six-bedroom units.

The building’s interior design and decoration is being undertaken by international designers BBG-BBGM. The firm has designed the interiors after examining the space, light and volume of the apartment shells to achieve finishes and interiors that complement the rich history of the property. Wide windows are built in the apartments are especially sourced to reflect the beauty of the original façade. They also provide abundant light and air. Care has also been taken to preserve original fixtures and fittings right through from spiraling banisters to exquisite cornicing. Bespoke Italian joinery has been featured in the residences along with original beams, mirrors and panelling.

All kitchen appliances will be supplied by Gaggenau for TEK Cuisine including private wine cellars. All apartments will feature the award-winning Smart Hydro bath, which remembers preferences for temperature and water level, and can be remotely activated by telephone.

The new design has retained the building’s fascinating history. Above the 24 apartments, three iconic towers which were a fundamental part of the building’s original design have been resurrected to accommodate three striking penthouses, which will be unveiled in 2013. Luxury design house Candy & Candy will design these penthouses which will offer views of the lake.

All residences within Du Parc will be managed by Kempinski Hotel Group while EDSA will design the landscape architecture. The residences are due to open in late 2012.
