Dornbracht will showcase Deque, SELV and Horizontal Shower collections at Sleep 2012.
The Deque is a single-lever mixer which juxtaposes the gentle flow of water with the severity of the fitting’s form, and the contrast of the planar projection and the cylindrical control elements. Featuring simple geometric forms, the Deque is available in chrome and matte black. It can be used in washbasins, bath tubs, and shower systems.
Designed by Sieger Design, the SELV interprets the word ‘self’ by presenting the openness of the range’s aesthetic and its ability to match different worlds of style. Emphasising on ‘design yourself!’ or ‘express yourself!’ the SELV prioritises individual design ideas specific to the user, architect or interior designer, rather than the fitting itself.
Featuring simple as well as elegant lines and finishes, the SELV has been designed to suit all types of bath areas starting from traditional to contemporary. Including the matching accessories in chrome and platinum matt finishes, the SELV is a complete product range.
The Horizontal Shower by Dornbracht has been created to harness natural elements and water. The Horizontal Shower combines six water bars recessed in a bulkhead above the individual. In order to get a balanced, invigorating or relaxing water experience, the various flow types in the Horizontal Shower can be combined using pre-programmed choreographies of water temperature and intensity.
The shower can be controlled by using the central eTool controls located near the user’s head, which makes it convenient to operate while lying down. The user can enjoy the Horizontal Shower lying on their front or back with a heatable reclining surface. Aimed at sustained well-being, the Horizontal shower can be used in both private and public spas.
All the three products from Dornbracht will be presented on the mezzanine level at stand M29A at 2012 Sleep, which is an international hotel event focusing entirely on hotel design, development and architectural excellence.
