Opened in 1987, the 730,000-square-foot Bayshore Mall is located off of Highway 101 in Eureka. It is anchored by Kohl’s, Sears, Wal-Mart, Pier 1 Imports, Ross Dress for Less, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Petco. Bayshore Mall was last renovated in 2002.

The renovation is expected to include a new tile floor, soft seating and new common area amenities, upgraded interior lighting, a new children’s play area, and refreshed pylon and directional site signage. Apart from that the upgrade also includes the installation of Wi-Fi.

T.J. Maxx, ULTA Beauty and The Sports Authority are expected to open their stores at Bayshore Mall prior to the holiday 2013 shopping season, joining the recently opened Wal-Mart. T.J. Maxx will replace a former Borders bookstore at the centre while ULTA Beauty will include a full-service salon specialising in the latest hair, nail and skin services. The Sports Authority will offer an assortment of sporting goods and accessories in the market. ULTA and The Sports Authority will replace a former theatre and previously unproductive in-line space.

The mall’s expanding line-up of national retailers includes Victoria’s Secret, The Children’s Place, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, Famous Footwear and rue 21.

The cosmetic renovation of the mall is scheduled to be completed by 2013.
