Held at Hotel Leela Kempinski in the north Indian city of Gurgaon, Radisson Resort and Spa won the award for its Mandara signature massage. The Asia Spa Awards recognizes the best spas across Asia in various categories.
Mandara is part of the international MSpa chain; it was nominated in three categories at the awards – best new spa, best resort spa, and best spa treatment.
The technique of the Mandara signature massage combines five different massage styles, including Japanese Shiatsu, Thai massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Swedish, and Balinese. The gentle and healing hands of the therapists help to calm the nervous system, warm and relax muscle tissue, and promote the growth of healthy, new skin cells. The massage results in total relaxation and makes the skin supple.
Vinay Phadnis, chairman and managing director of Sahil Group, the developers of Radisson Alibaug, and Shalil Suvarna, general manager of Radisson Resort & Spa Alibaug, received the award.
