The jet plane was transformed into an airplane hotel by hotelier Oscar Dios who has christened it Jumbo Hostel.
The airplane hotel contains bunk beds, overhead luggage compartments, and flat screen TVs. The rear of the plane carries bathrooms with showers. The reception area and cafe welcome guests toward the front.
Dios plans to convert the Boeing’s upper deck into a conference room and the cockpit into a wedding suite.
The single sex dorms contain 3 beds , and the dorm is of the size of 20 x 10 feet. The private rooms have either two twin beds or a double and a twin bed. These rooms are equipped with flatscreen TVs.
Jumbo Hostel also offers room with an en suit bathroom in the cockpit suite. The suite retains a few of the pilot controls as well as the original sunroof window which can be opened to the sky.
There’s a 24 hour check in counter on board and free wifi throughout the airplane hotel.
