The concept and interior design of the apartments have been done by Kevin Troxall of Louisville-based company Kevin Troxall Design. A total of three floors of the 300 Building including the third, fourth and fifth levels have been converted into 18 apartments as part of the project. The new apartments sport a contemporary style and incorporate various advanced amenities. The housing consists of studio and one-bedroom units which range in size between 420 to 650 square feet.
All the apartments are fully furnished and have been equipped with new appliances. The look is complemented through the installation of modern artistic renderings by Kevin Troxall Design’s Kevin Troxall.
The project received contributions of $1 million from FBM Properties, in-kind contracting by Cardinal Services, and in-kind design services from Kevin Troxall Design. It was also financed via gifts from Actors Theatre Board members as well as private donations which includes a gift registry at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
