The renovation project incorporated several green features in the 50,000 square feet structure. To improve indoor air quality, efficient filters have been used in ductwork and the company has switched to certified green cleaning practices.

The bathrooms of the building have been fitted with low-flow sensor faucets and dual flush water closets, which reap water savings of 35%. The project has also led to re-lamping of the entire lighting system which brings annual energy cost cuts cost cuts of $189,000.

The facility now features over 1,000 solar panels, which meet more than 6% of its daily electrical energy needs. Further, the company will purchase certified Green-E energy for at least the next five years for over 15% of the building load.

Construction of the new building component involved usage of at least 10% of recycled content or rapid renewable materials. Almost 50% of the construction debris has been reused. The B-level office area of the Atrium building sports roof skylights which maximise natural light penetration inside. The other enclosed spaces have been upgraded to allow more daylight circulation.

In addition, the building has been furnished with LEED-certified workspace furniture pieces. they include work station tables and surfaces containing up to 70% reclaimed materials.
