The centre will incorporate eight games courts for five-a-side football, badminton, volleyball, basketball, handball and mini-volleyball, an outdoor 3G five-a-side pitch, a community room and changing areas.
The project was built by NEL Construction and was funded by South Lanarkshire city Council.
The center is named after the rangers and Scotland football player, who grew up in the town.
