Energy Focus replaced the 250 and 400 watts metal halide fixtures with Energy Focus’ new 26 watt LED Landscape luminaires. This retrofit reduced the county building’s energy consumption by 89% and eliminates maintenance for at least 10 years because of the fixtures’ 50,000-hour LED lamp life.

In total, this energy-efficient upgrade will improve the environmental impact of the county by lowering electrical consumption by 89% annually.

This marks the second beta site for the new fixtures after an installation at Geis Construction headquarters in Streetsboro in the beginning of 2009.
