Light Bureau has developed a simple lighting design solution that subtly contrasts and complements the bold décor of the store, featuring bespoke fabrics and furniture by Diane von Furstenberg. The lighting design utilizes integrated low energy light fittings within vanity units, while Murano glass floor and table and wall mounted luminaires are specially designed to provide flexibility and a high-class aesthetic.
A state-of-the-art lighting control system installed at the store interfaces with the audio visual, reception and concierge call systems, providing flexibility and remote control. It also ensures minimization of energy usage.
Claridge’s, one of the world’s most famous and glamorous hotels, has collaborated with fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg to bring her signature style to a series of 20 guestrooms and suites, the first of which were unveiled on June 23, 2010.
