Described as an artificial structure, Andromeda’s unusual design includes groups of LED lights embedded at cross-points of the organic Lovegrove structure that has been made of hard polyurethane foam form. For reflecting the emitted light, mirrors have been used that can be realigned to reflect light in different directions. These mirrors have been arranged in a delineated configuration that not only distributes light in multiple directions but also creates numerous shadows.
The mirror reflectors have also been attached to the lamp with the help of magnets to provide the desired flexibility for adjusting angles.
The Andromeda can be used both at home and in public spaces. Its approximate dimensions are H270 x W800 x D460 with a total length of 600-2000 mm.
Steel with a painted finish, hard polyurethane foam, mirror and LED light measuring 1.1W x8 has been used to make this pendant lamp.
