The refurbishment of the Squires covered entrance and reception area and currently comprises a student advice and support centre, and art gallery. The design brief required the existing centre to feature contemporary design incorporating modern fittings, stylish furniture and bright and bold colour ways such as reds, blacks and greys.
Forbo’s Artoleum Libretto fuses high-contrast blacks and whites with complementary greys to make it an architectonic design. It contrasts with the bold tones and clean lines of the interior décor at the Squires, providing a contemporary finish.
Forbo employs Topshield, a unique water-based finish that claims to protect the floor. To ensure continuity at the reception area of the Squires, Forbo has provided multi-coloured welds for a seamless finish. The Artoleum Graphic collection is suitable for high end aesthetics.
