Arup Associates is working in collaboration with Arup’s Milan office, along with Marcus Lee and James Finestone, who worked on the Heathrow T5 project. Apart from design studies, the feasibility work encompasses people movement as well as transport links.
Italian firm SAVE, the airport operator, wants the terminal expansion scheme in order to have extra space, since the terminal opened in 2002 is already close to capacity. As part of the study, officials from SAVE will visit London’s T5.
