Bicolore bed features black lacquer headboard and legs and a combination of glossy yellow maple-wood, walnut or cherry-wood. The bed has dimensions measuring 250 cm by 220 cm by 40 cm. The slatted bed base measures 170 by 200 cm.
Designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Bicolore bed represents the re-interpretation of the traditional bed in a contemporary setting as an alternative to the typologies of upholstered bed or futon. The new wooden bed can be an aesthetic addition to any bedroom interiors, both modern and traditional. The minimalist headboard complements the legs of the bed.
Azucena was founded in 1947 by a group of young Milanese architects – Luigi Caccia Diminioni, Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua, Ignazio Gardella, Maria Teresa and Franca Tosi.
