In partnership with manufacturer Isokon Plus, the pair designed the three-legged oak chair as contemporary response to the brief, combining a strong sense of craft heritage, sculptural form and complex reader requirements.
The chair will be developed to production standards for use in the newly refurbished Weston Library, part of the Bodleian Libraries, which will open its doors to readers in a year’s time.
