Beasley & Henley has been commissioned for the renovation of the common areas of the Seapoint Condo tower, a 1991-built beach side, luxury mid-rise tower. The design firm is on track for completing the interiors installation.
Beasley & Henley has redesigned and renovated the common areas of the tower including the main club, lower lobby, guest suites, pool area, offices, and others. Beasley & Henley provided the interior architectural detailing and drawings. The firm also specified finishes and furnishings for this project. It has offered a transitionally modern ambience to the common areas with a sophisticated Indonesian flair.
Beasley & Henley has redesigned the ceilings including ceiling details and Venetian plaster in soft blues and sand colours. The flooring and the flooring details have also undergone redesign. The main flooring is a limestone with fossilized shells, highlighted with accents of slate.
The club room and other areas have received an optimum space planning in an attempt to ensure overall cohesiveness and flow of the space. The addition of a glass wall feature offers views directly through the building. The common areas have also undergone a lighting redesign, with the lighting features’ tone being set by the four custom designed five feet chandeliers in the Grand Lobby.
Beasley & Henley has suggested light and cool furnishings and colours for Seapoint. Shades of blues and soft sand play a primary role as they reflect the hues of the beach, the ocean and the sunsets. This helps in blending the interiors with the beach-front surrounding. Contrasting colours are also included to add vibrancy into the entire interior scheme. The dark driftwood stain on the interior wood detailing and the slate water-wall feature in the Main Hall are some of the contrasting elements. The carpeting installed in the areas is distinct for its nubby texture, which is a gentle reminder of the beach just beyond the doors.
