The new line has four distinct lava veneers: field rock, pahoehoe, beach rock and Pacific lava. Each has a unique color, texture and shape.
Pahoehoe is formed from slow moving lava and exhibits distinct linear surface textures with an overall uniform thickness and a nice clear finish on the top. Beach rock, also known in Hawaiian as ‘ili ‘ili, features smooth contours of stones, while Pacific lava rock line emphasizes pronounced depth and texture.
The range’s color palette replicates the natural color hues of ancient and recent lava flows found throughout different parts of the Hawaiian islands.
Bella Pietra owner Layla Dedrick says, The lava rock veneers look exactly like the natural stone and can be used in a project on its own or can be seamlessly incorporated in a project with the natural stone.
