Combining innovation with history, the new Benetton interiors concept is currently present in major European cities including Milan, Paris, London, Frankfurt and Istanbul. The Delhi store is located at Hamilton House, Connaught Place. The design concept of the store has blended the Group’s identity with the vibrant historical elements of the Indian capital.
Each floor of the three-storey store is designed to highlight the characteristics of the collections stocked. The ground floor houses the Benetton women’s collection; the first floor is for Benetton kids’ collections; while Benetton men’ is on the second floor.
The new Benetton store features big metal or wooden boxes, wardrobes on castors, and tables designed in natural shapes. Rails, shelves and hanging systems are created to resemble large and light, sophisticated 50’s-style bookcases. Together, all these elements present a neatly arranged showcase of Benetton apparel and accessories.
References to colour have been featured throughout the back wall of the store. The name of the city is also emphasised in the words ‘United Colors of Delhi’ written in black sheet metal and highlighted in neon.
